  1. Gently buff the shiny top layer of polish from your nail. Be careful not to buff through to the natural nail.
  2. File the tip of the nail (as if shaping nails) to break the seal you made when capping during application. This will allow the removal solution to penetrate the polish.
  3. Tear open the foil pouch and saturate the cotton pad which is inside with SensatioNail Remover liquid or 100% Acetone.
  4. Place nail inside and wrap tightly. Do this to each nail and leave for 15-20 minutes. You may find it easier to do one hand at a time.
  5. Hint: place hands in a warm towel or oven gloves to help speed up the process.
  6. Once the time is up, remove the wrap and you should see the polish has flaked.
  7. Using the remover tool, gently push the polish off the nails, starting at the cuticle and pushing towards the nail tip. If there is any stubborn polish, replace the wraps and wait a few more minutes until it is easily removed.  Never dig the tool into the polish as this will damage your nails.
  8. Wash hands thoroughly with luke warm or cool water and apply SensatioNail Cuticle Oil to nourish the nail

Notes for all gel nail removal methods:

If you find the gel polish has adhered to your nails very well, SensatioNail has developed an ‘Easy off’ base coat.  You could also try using the primer only in an ‘O’ shape around the nail, or skipping altogether.

Some users like to use petroleum jelly or a barrier cream on the skin around the nail before removal as it can help protect the skin from the drying effects of acetone.

After removal wash and dry hands thoroughly and apply SensatioNail cuticle oil.

If you are doing your next SensatioNail manicure straight away, do not apply hand cream or cuticle oil until this is completed.
